About the role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Solicitor with 2-5 years post qualification experience to join our respected and growing Family Law Team. In this role, you will manage a diverse range of family law matters, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Parenting arrangements
  • Property settlements
  • Spousal maintenance
  • Family violence intervention orders

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client files from initial consultation to final resolution

  • Provide clear, strategic, and empathetic legal advice
  • Represent clients in court and at mediation
  • Lead a team
  • Keep abreast of developments in family law legislation and case law
  • Design and draft precedents
  • Work closely with colleagues and leadership to develop case strategies
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture

What we're looking for

  • Admitted to practice in Australia, with 2–5 years PQE in family law
  • Experienced across all stages of family law matters from intake through litigation
  • A strong understanding of family law legislation, regulations, and best practices
  • Confident in court advocacy and client relationship management
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Able to manage competing priorities with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Strategically minded, yet sensitive to client needs
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional legal service and outcomes
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to legal practice
