About the Role
  • Manage daily operations of GAWB's potable and raw water networks to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant service delivery.
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary teams, embedding a performance-driven and safety-focused culture.
  • Develop and manage business plans, budgets, and performance reports for the Network Operations function.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the review and enhancement of operational systems, technologies, and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with dam safety and emergency management obligations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide timely financial reporting, cost estimates, and recommendations aligned with operational objectives.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise service outcomes.
About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Operations Management or a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams, in similar industrial/process/infrastructure environments.
  • Strong business and financial management experience.
  • Current "C" Class Driver's Licence.
  • Desirable but not essential will be an understanding of water networks, including the application of the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and other relevant legislation/frameworks.
