Strategic Account Manager – Wholesale (Laddaw)
Location: Hybrid (Bardon & Home) with UK travel
Reporting To: National Sales Manager – Wholesale
Salary: c.£60,000 + up to 25% bonus + £5.5k car allowance or company car + private medical + 25 days holiday + pension

Why This Role Matters
As Strategic Account Manager, you'll own and grow a portfolio of our largest and most commercially critical wholesale customers, holding full accountability for P&L performance, customer retention, and strategic growth initiatives.
You'll work cross-functionally with senior leaders and operational teams to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive measurable value—both for our customers and the Laddaw business. This is more than relationship management: it's strategic leadership with real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take full ownership of a high-value customer portfolio, managing commercial performance, profitability, and long-term retention.
- Build trusted strategic partnerships with C-suite and senior stakeholders across key accounts.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with client goals and the broader wholesale strategy.
- Leverage data from tools like Salesforce and Power BI to drive insight-led decisions and prepare impactful business reviews.
- Identify and deliver new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive incremental growth.
- Lead and resolve escalations, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience and protecting customer loyalty.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product development, service enhancements, and commercial decisions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and the Insight & Analytics team, to deliver seamless, strategic solutions.
- Provide commercial leadership to the Account Support Management team, aligning efforts and setting priorities for wider account servicing.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines commercial acumen with strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and a results-driven mindset.
You'll Bring
- Proven experience managing complex, high-value B2B accounts, ideally in product sales or wholesale environments.
- A strategic lens with the ability to connect customer insight to business opportunity.
- Experience with multifaceted negotiations and understanding of account-level P&L responsibility.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams to shared goals.
- Strong commercial curiosity—data-driven, highly inquisitive, and always seeking improvement.
- Salesforce experience is a plus; automotive industry knowledge is desirable.
