KindyROO is a part of The Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG) and GymbaROO Group. GymbaROO-KindyROO is a comprehensive movement and sensory motor skills program designed to empower children from 6 weeks old to 5 years in activities that enhance body awareness, develop sensory skills, and foster meaningful connections with themselves and their environment.

During our classes parent and baby/child will be guided through a wide range of fun and loving activities that are perfect for the developing brain and body.

The Role

Our KindyROO-Trained Teachers are responsible for the delivery of the GymbaROO-KindyROO program. A commitment to children and their developmental needs is essential. Planning skills are required to ensure that different ages and stages are catered for in each class. As a GymbaROO-Trained Teacher, the vision, mission, and values of the brand will live in all that is done, each day serving the community of parents, carers and children.

Each class is led by our GymbaROO-Trained Teacher, who are specifically trained in GymbaROO-KindyROO's motor activities, essential skills, rhythm and language, multi-sensory movement, to optimise each child's physical and cognitive development. We are dedicated to supporting children in becoming school-ready

Key Accountabilities

  • Follow the GymbaROO – KindyROO program and visualization theme.
  • Use GymbaROO – KindyROO music as written within the program.
  • Talk about and have a thorough understanding of the week's theme, neurological theme and movement theme.
  • Uphold and demonstrate the Company's vision, mission, and values by upholding the charter.
  • Utilise the support and expertise of other Company Champions.
  • Provide regular customer feedback and updates.
  • Be warm and welcoming for all families new and old.
  • Medium physical activity involved
  • At all times compliance with all internal policies and external legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Attend meetings.

Team Engagement

  • Work as part of the team and community to create a positive, tolerant, and harmonious work environment.
  • Deal with all team members in a helpful, courteous, and respectful manner.
  • Communicate ideas that may improve efficiency, performance or standards of the business.
  • Read ROO's News each term (Education) to maintain currency and ensure familiarity with any changes that are notified.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Tertiary or Post-Secondary Qualification
  • Working With Children's Check (WWCC)
  • National Police Check
