The Role

As a Ute Delivery Driver at our Torrensville Trade Centre, your primary responsibility is to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our valued customers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer service by handling deliveries with care, accuracy, and professionalism. Your role involves loading and unloading materials, verifying delivery details, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. By joining our team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our trade centre and help us uphold our reputation for reliability and excellence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices.
  • Delivery of building supplies and hardware product to various client addresses/sites
  • Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean, safe and serviceable condition in accordance with recommended operating practices including completion of the daily pre–start safety check.
  • Prioritising customer requests.
  • Process customer credits & carry out stock refill.
  • Build relationships with customers and to identify their needs.

Requires skills and attributes:

  • Strong understanding of WHS and COR requirements
  • Proficient reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  • Drivers Licence
  • White card
  • Ability to multitask
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
