Site Foreman

At Cornerstone Construction, we've been delivering high-quality community and construction projects for over 20 years. As an integrated healthcare development group, at the heart of our organisation is the development of primary and specialised healthcare hubs across Australia – health centres of excellence, empowering true integration through multi-disciplinary care

We are now entering the next stage of our current landmark project: a 9 storey healthcare centre, including three levels of basement parking and five storeys above ground, scheduled for completion in 2027. With excavation now complete, we are seeking a capable and motivated Site Foreman to lead on-site operations and drive the successful delivery of the build phase

The site foreman will be responsible for all day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard of quality. You'll coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining momentum and discipline across all phases of construction.

Key accountabilities:

• Lead and manage on-site teams to maintain high levels of productivity, discipline and workmanship
• Coordinate sub-contractors, materials and schedules to achieve project milestones
• Understand WHS requirements and demonstrate application of safety protocols and promote a strong culture across the site
• Ensure that all work complies with project plans, specifications and building standards
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain process and program integrity

You will have proven experience as a Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role on large scale commercial projects. Extensive experience in structures and fit out works are required. You bring strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and safety standards. Your ability to build cohesive teams, whilst maintaining a culture of accountability, quality and performance will be evident from your track record of successful project delivery.

This is a fixed term role (18 months) through to the completion of the build phase, with the potential for extension for the right candidate. Additional fit-out stages may follow, offering opportunities to continue with the project beyond the initial term
