Sales Engineer – Perth WA Jandakot

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity is now available to join our Perth WA branch.

Star Aluminium is a leading designer and manufacturer of height access equipment, producing both standard and custom solutions in aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring experience from the safety access, work platform, scaffold, or related manufacturing industries, with a strong passion for building new business while nurturing existing client relationships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and service existing client accounts.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new accounts across both national and international markets.
  • Prepare and submit activity and results reports (daily call logs, weekly work plans, monthly performance reviews).
  • Monitor and analyse competitor activity including pricing, product launches, delivery schedules, and marketing approaches.
  • Provide exceptional customer support and proactively address issues to prevent complaints.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, technical developments, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to overall team success by achieving aligned business goals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record in sales, with a highly motivated and results-driven approach.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and prioritisation abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a small team.
