Kardex AutoStore specializes in innovative automated storage and retrieval solutions. We're looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to join our growing APAC team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, project delivery, and customer success.

About the Role

The Technical Delivery Manager will support and technically lead the end-to-end lifecycle of intralogistics automation projects, with a strong focus on AutoStore systems. Acting as the bridge between pre-sales, solution design, and delivery, you'll ensure a seamless journey from customer requirements through to operational go-live. You'll work closely with sales, solutions, project management, and commissioning teams to balance technical excellence, commercial viability, and customer satisfaction. This role is hands-on, customer-facing, and requires the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

Your tasks

Pre-Sales & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with sales and business development to support/review proposals and solution concepts.
  • Participate in client meetings to assess requirements and evaluate feasibility.
  • Contribute to solution design, layouts, and specifications, ensuring smooth AutoStore integration with WMS/WCS systems.

Project Delivery & Integration

  • Act as the primary technical lead throughout project delivery.
  • Oversee and review configuration, installation, commissioning, and testing of AutoStore solutions.
  • Manage integration with subsystems (e.g., conveyors, picking stations, AGVs, WMS/WCS).
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate across internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve technical challenges.
  • Lead technical change management and scope control.

Handover & Ongoing Support

  • Ensure the technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer is delivered accurately.
  • Support smooth go-live and transition to steady-state operations.
  • Partner with service teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in technical delivery / project management within intralogistics or warehouse
  • automation.
  • Proven expertise with AutoStore design, deployment, and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, automation, and material flow.
    Experience across the full project lifecycle – sales support delivery- handover.
  • Familiarity with integration of AutoStore with WMS/WCS/ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% across ANZ.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Automation, Logistics, or related field.
  • Experience with AMRs, conveyors, pallet/shuttle systems, or robotic picking.
  • Exposure to digital twins, simulation tools, or warehouse analytics.
