About the role

Phoenix Hospitality Group in Burleigh Heads, Queensland is seeking experienced Kitchen Stewards to join their dynamic team. This Full-time or Part-Time role will see you working in a vibrant, brand new, 5* hotel, supporting the culinary team and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen by washing, drying and storing all kitchen equipment, utensils and crockery
  • Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as required
  • Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Providing excellent customer service to all kitchen staff
  • Undertaking any other duties as required to support the smooth running of the kitchen

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role in a high-volume hospitality environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Be able to manage for long period on your feet
