is seeking a Speech Pathologist in
Geelong
, supporting children and families within our local community.
At Hello Kids Therapy Hub we offer 6 weeks paid leave, generous PD allowance and KMs reimbursed.
About the Role
This role can either be part time or full time depending on your needs
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independence in their clinical practice and values being out in the community rather than clinic-based full time. You'll work with children aged
2–14 years
with a range of communication, developmental, and functional needs.
Option 1: Fully Mobile
Work exclusively in the community with school, chilcare, kindergarten and home visits.
Option 2: Clinic + Mobile
Work some days from our fully equipped clinic rooms at 59 Barrabool Road, Highton, where you'll be the sole practitioner onsite. You'll have full administrative and clinical support from our Melbourne-based team, along with the flexibility to include mobile visits as part of your week.
Your caseload will include
NDIS, Medicare, and private clients
, your role will include delivering holistic, family-centred therapy that supports children's participation in their daily life. While you'll have strong support from our friendly team, you'll also have the autonomy to plan your week, shape therapy pathways, and build relationships with local families and community partners.
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
- Meeting with parents or caregivers to understand their child's needs and gather comprehensive background information.
- Liaise with families to establish child and family-centred goals that align with their values and priorities.
- Creating personalised, strengths-based therapy plans to support children in reaching their communication and developmental goals.
- Communicating with other health and education professionals involved in each child's care to ensure cohesive and well-rounded support.
- Conducting standardised Speech Pathology and developmental assessments.
- Writing NDIS reports and review reports.
- Regularly providing written and verbal information and feedback to families following intervention and assessment sessions.
- Developing engaging materials and resources for in-clinic therapy sessions and home programs to reinforce progress.

What You'll Bring
- A recognised degree or qualification in Speech Pathology
- Candidates must hold either a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Speech Pathology
- A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid, Working With Children Check, and Police Clearance
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility to register)
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or a willingness to obtain it)
- Passion for working with children, young people, and families
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enthusiasm to learn, grow, and contribute to our team
