We're looking for a skilled
Operational Engineer
to join our Communications Operations team. This is a unique opportunity to work with multi-disciplined peers nationwide, gain exposure to leading technologies, and grow your career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure the smooth operation of our Unified Communications services for customers.
  • Install and maintain system hardware (servers, gateways, and SIP networks).
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across communication platforms.
  • Collaborate with vendors and escalate issues to L3 engineers when required.
  • Support clients through BAU service, incident response, and problem resolution.
  • Create internal knowledge base articles and customer help sheets.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to manage alerts and escalations.
  • Travel to client sites for installation and maintenance services.

What you bring

  • Experience with one or more platforms: NEC, Avaya, Alcatel, Mitel, Samsung, Panasonic, Cisco.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, including QoS for SIP telephony.
  • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and supporting telephony systems.
  • Ability to program and adapt solutions to customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • A current driver's licence (essential).
