About the Role
There is one (1) position available at either the ASO6, ASO7 or ASO8 level, dependant on the experience of the candidate.
ASO-6 The Senior Industrial Relations Advisor plays a pivotal role in supporting and guiding CALHN health units and client groups on employee and industrial relations matters. Reporting to the Director, Industrial Relations, you will provide expert advice, coordinate complex issues, and lead best-practice workforce management initiatives. This role involves supporting disciplinary processes, interpreting industrial instruments, developing policies and procedures, and representing CALHN at the South Australian Industrial Relations Tribunal, all while fostering a fair, respectful and collaborative workplace.
ASO-7 The Principal Industrial Relations Consultant is a senior leader within CALHN, driving excellence in employee and industrial relations across the organisation. Reporting to the Director, Industrial Relations, you will work closely with executives, managers and Workforce teams to plan, manage and deliver strategic initiatives that meet current and future organisational needs. This role involves leading complex employee relations matters, managing misconduct cases, providing expert advice, and co-leading proactive workforce strategies that foster continuous improvement, accountability and a positive workplace culture. You'll play a key role in shaping best-practice workforce management and supporting CALHN to achieve its workforce goals.
ASO-8 As the Industrial Relations Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting positive workplace relations across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. Working closely with the Director, Industrial Relations, you'll provide expert advice and advocacy on a wide range of employee and industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with legislative and industrial obligations. You'll lead the resolution of complex issues, represent CALHN at the South Australian Employment Tribunal, and contribute to building a collaborative, fair and respectful workplace culture that supports both staff and organisational success.
