During your Apprenticeship, you will be provided with mentoring while you complete on-the-job and off-the-job training. We will provide you with ongoing support to help you achieve your career goals.

What will you be doing?

Our Host employer is a family owned and operated business working predominately in inner city suburbs.

You will undertake a variety of tasks, including:

  • Work with a team of dedicated qualified carpenters and apprentices on custom projects
  • Use power tools, e.g. electric/battery drills, power saws, routers, sanders, planners, laser levelling devices and nail guns
  • Comply with local building codes and work health and safety regulations
  • Use your maths skills to take measurements, calculate areas and quantities

  • Above average physical fitness and well-developed hand-eye coordination
  • Great communication skills and openness to work alongside others
  • Completed more than 10 units of competency towards your Certificate III in Carpentry.
