We're seeking a proactive and community minded Office Manager to take charge of our day-to-day operations and help shape the future of our organisation. This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week with flexibility offered as needed between Monday to Saturday. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations including supplies, systems, and general upkeep
  • Provide admin support to staff and volunteers (scheduling, correspondence, coordination)
  • Manage financial tasks such as expenses, petty cash, invoicing, purchasing, and budget tracking
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, Centrelink coordination, student placements, and volunteers
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Contribute to internal projects, fundraising, and community events
  • Act as a central point of contact for staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders
  • Promote clear, respectful, and effective communication across the organisation

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Background in business administration or management (degree or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in office or team leadership, ideally in a not-for-profit or community environment
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of budgeting, finance, and bookkeeping
  • Familiarity with compliance, reporting, and volunteer coordination
  • Ability to motivate and lead staff and volunteers
  • Interest in history, cultural preservation, or community development
