About The Role

• Xavier 7 South is 30-bed mixed medical ward: specialities include Gastroenterology, Renal, Nephrology, Immunology, Infectious diseases, Drug & Alcohol, Clinical Pharmacology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology & Dermatology.
• Xavier 7 South also currently encompasses inpatient medical oncology cancer services.
• You will practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and practice in accordance with NSW Health guidelines, local policy and protocol.
• Responsible in the provision of patient-centered nursing care including recognition of normal and abnormal assessments, interventions and evaluations of individual health and functional status.
• May administer prescribed medicines or maintain intravenous fluids, in accordance with their educational preparation.

About You

• Currently registered as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
• Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice.
• Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team and has effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
• Demonstrated customer service and patient centered approach to care.
