About the role

As a Leader in manufacturing and supplying the swimming pool industry, we are seeking a Factory Assembler to join our team in Ringwood, Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment where pride and attention to detail in your work shines through.

This is a 12 Month contract position, offering the opportunity to be part of our fast-paced manufacturing environment butwith opportunity to renew or continue the contract after this time.

What you'll be doing

  • Measure, cut and assemble components according to company standards and specifications
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks (e.g. drills, saws, tapping tools)
  • Safely handle and move heavier items and materials as part of the production process
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance
  • Assist with cleaning, packaging, and preparing products for dispatch
  • Perform general warehouse and factory duties, to maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
  • Report any issues or concerns to the production supervisor
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a factory, production or warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • High level of precision, care and accuracy
  • Skilled in accurate measurements of products and assembly of larger product components
  • Confident and capable using hand tools and power tools (e.g. drills, saws, tapping tools)
  • Comfortable working with a variety of materials (e.g. metals, silicone, timber for crates)
  • Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks, including safely lifting items around 25kg, and able to adapt to tasks that may require extended periods of standing or sitting.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
