About the Role:

As Sous Chef, you'll support the Head & Executive Chef in running a high-energy kitchen known for its fresh, fun and fragrant Thai dishes. From daily prep to plating perfection, you'll help maintain the standards and speed that define BangPop.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the team during service with confidence and clarity

  • Oversee prep, execution and presentation of all dishes

  • Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards

  • Help train, coach and inspire junior team members

  • Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen efficiency

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Sous Chef or CDP role

  • Experience with Asian or Thai cuisine preferred

  • Strong leadership, multitasking and time management skills

  • Positive attitude and hands-on approach to team leadership

  • Full-time availability and the right to work in Australia (or be eligible for sponsorship – we can help)
