About the role

Killara Golf Club is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our members and guests in our bar and dining areas. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services from daily bar operations to large functions and golf events.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting members and guests with professional and friendly service
2. Taking food and beverage orders, preparing and serving drinks, and delivering meals to tables
3. Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the bar, dining, and service areas
4. Assisting with inventory, stock rotation, and other back-of-house duties as required
5. Adhering to all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
6. Supporting events and functions with service and setup

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience working in a bar, cafe or similar job in the hospitality industry
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
3. Coffee experience preferred (not essential)
4. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
5. A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of the organisation
6. A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
