About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Drafting Coordinator to join our growing team. This role involves coordinating shop drawings, managing drafting workflows, and ensuring all drawings meet project specifications and timelines. You'll work closely with our project managers, engineers, and fabrication team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and review structural steel shop drawings
  • Liaise with engineers, builders, and drafting subcontractors
  • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and fabrication requirements
  • Manage drawing revisions and approvals
  • Provide technical support to the fabrication and installation teams
  • Maintain clear communication between drafting, production, and site teams

Requirements:

  • Experience in structural steel drafting coordination or a similar role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar drafting software
  • Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
