We have a small, dynamic, committed team but are currently expanding – so a rare opportunity exists for a Casual Property Stylist to join us.

About the position:

You will be employed in the role of Property Stylist on a casual basis.

The role requires the ability to work flexible hours Monday to Friday as we are subject to tight deadlines and fluctuations in the amount of properties to be staged on a weekly basis.

Working in a small team, this role involves staging homes and apartments for sale. The Property Stylist manages and assists the entire process from start to end including initial client meetings, quoting, furniture and accessories selection, on-going client liaison and managing the installation process.

We are looking for someone who is supremely professional, is able to confidently communicate with clients and will be an exceptional, creative and sophisticated stylist. They are self-motivated, have a positive attitude, are team players and have the capability to work in a fast-paced environment when required.

Duties:

Some of the expected duties for the position include:

• Setting up "mock ups" in the styling area of the warehouse and packing light items and accessories for the staging jobs.
• Managing and administration of quotes and planning bookings for quotation.
• Liaising with the warehouse and moving team to ensure client deadlines are met effectively.
• Management of customer telephone and email enquiries.
• Providing excellent customer service to our clients and project managing the installation of furniture on site.
• Attend occasional furniture and décor sales events and take part in the purchase of stock for Center Staged as required.
• Physical quotations and consultations onsite at any potential property that is to be staged.
• Writing up of quotes and emailing them to clients.
• Communicating with clients/agents/builders etc via email and phone.
• Warehouse tasks including organisation and staging setups of furniture etc.
• The staging of the client's property. Working with removalists and installing of furniture and décor.
• Organising workforce to be available for home staging jobs including removalists and truck driver/s.

Location:

Our warehouse is located in Sunshine North but styling installations will be all over predominantly the West of Melbourne.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will preferably have at least 1 year of experience within the property styling industry and/or interior design.
