General Storeperson with a forklift license in Amberley

The Amberley team are currently looking for an experienced General Storeperson with adequate knowledge of warehousing processes and procedures. As a forklift will also be used, having a LF License is essential.

Shift times: 7:30 to 16:00 Mon to Thursday, 7:30 to 14:00 on Friday

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Up to about mid October, but for the right candidate - potential to go permanent with the client.

Pay Rate: $40.75 per hour + super

Main Accountabilities:

  • Pick Packing

  • Assisting in physical inventories and ensuring proper stock rotation

  • Sorting, scanning and noting of products that move through the distribution facility

  • Maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work area, conducting operations in a manner that promotes safety

  • Keeping appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained

  • Preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation

  • Put away, replenishment and retrieval of goods to and from specific warehouse areas

  • Operation of non-licensed equipment and manual tasks associated with packaging operations

  • Basic use of a PC

  • Use of RF Scanner

  • Occasionally Loading, unloading, moving, stacking and staging products and materials using a Forklift, or other non-specialised-materials handling equipment

Requirements:

  • Valid LF License Essential

  • Australian Citizen

  • Valid Police Check

  • Medical clearance prior to commencement

  • Need to be able to obtain DCAC Baseline Security requirements

  • Steel Cap Boots & High Vis

  • Able to work independently and in a team environment

  • Undertakes duties in a safe and responsible manner

  • Possesses basic interpersonal and communication skills
