About Us

Buckby Motors is a locally owned and operated car dealership serving Northern Tasmania. With multiple convenient locations across Launceston and a growing presence in Devonport, we are proud to employ approximately 100 local professionals across our sales, service, and vehicle reconditioning departments.

About the role:

We're experiencing exciting growth and are seeking Service Advisors to join our customer-facing team at our state-of-the-art service centre in South Launceston. As a vital link between us and our customers, your day-to-day duties will include (but are not limited to) the below;

  • Efficient handling of incoming calls
  • Schedule customer vehicles in for servicing, repair and warranty
  • Meet and greet customers on arrival and pickup of vehicles
  • Explain and consult with customers on services carried out on their vehicles
  • Follow up jobs throughout the day to ensure all customer needs and requirements are met

Skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Sound computer skills
  • High level of professionalism and personal presentation
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • Front counter experience preferred but not essential
  • Current drivers license
