Details: The Education Directorate is seeking an experienced leader to act in the role of Senior Director, Information Access for a short-term period (27 November 2025 to 24 December This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership position and contribute to the delivery of transparent, accountable, and responsive government services. There is a further temporary opportunity from 12 February 2026 for three weeks to fill this position.

About the Role

As Senior Director, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the management of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests across the Directorate.
  • Provide strategic advice on information access, privacy, and records management.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support open government principles.
  • Manage a small team and ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
