About The Role
Join our dynamic Operations Project Management Office (PMO) and play a key role in delivering exciting business and technical projects across the organisation within your own portfolio. This role is ideal for candidates with
experience in the pharmaceutical industry
who are looking to broaden their skills and gain exposure to new areas.
As a
Project Coordinator
, you'll work closely with the Project Specialists, Leads and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives such as new product launches, supply changes, partnerships, and other strategic projects. You'll help keep projects on track, ensure clear communication across stakeholders, and contribute to improving our project management tools and processes to enhance delivery excellence across DBG.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the scoping, planning and coordination of low to medium-risk projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables and risks are clearly defined and managed.
- Maintain and update project schedules, risk registers and communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Coordinate project meetings, document outcomes and ensure actions, issues and risks are tracked and addressed.
- Provide progress updates and escalate key decisions to the Project Lead or relevant stakeholders as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management tools, templates and processes to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Support capability building across the organisation by assisting teams in using project management systems and methodologies effectively.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, safety and continuous improvement, aligned with DBG's values and objectives.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or veterinary industries is required; prior project management experience is highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to understand goals, define deliverables, and manage risks.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and maintain oversight across projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clear and concise reporting and documentation.
- Self-motivated team player with effective time management and the ability to work independently.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline; exposure to project management tools or training is an advantage.
