Portfolio Management Senior Analyst, EPMO

Key responsibilities include:
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation to develop, embed and maintain fit-for-purpose processes, systems and practices to assist with enterprise workload prioritisation and resource management to achieve departmental or organisational strategies and benefits.
  • Manage the data collection of enterprise resource data for project and BAU initiatives and engage with stakeholders to ensure data collected conforms to agreed standards.
  • Conduct resource profiling of project and BAU initiatives, including supply & demand analysis at an enterprise level.
  • Maintain a framework (templates, processes & documentation) relating to enterprise workload prioritisation and resource management.
  • Supports the running of the prioritisation model on a periodic basis to support workload prioritisation decision making.
  • Translates data into meaningful insights and key messages and recommendations and presents information clearly and concisely for senior stakeholders/ governance groups.
  • Provide rolling forecast of BAU demand from projects.
  • Work within and with other departments to keep workload prioritisation and resource management data in sync.
  • Support continuous improvements relating to enterprise workload prioritisation and resource management.
To be successful you should have:
  • Experience working as part of a portfolio management office or team within the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience in workload prioritisation and resource management at an enterprise level.
  • Experience in prioritisation modelling and workload/ resource profiling including supply and demand analysis at an enterprise level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on outcomes.
  • Strong technical capabilities in Data Analytics e.g. Advanced Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Self-serve reporting etc.
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Management Methodologies, frameworks, techniques and tools particularly regarding planning, prioritisation and resource management
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications.
