About Us

ShopSense Promotions provides commercial Christmas decorations and displays for shopping centres.

The company operates throughout Melbourne and Victoria with a dedicated team of full-time and casual staff during the busier months.

We are looking for energetic & motivated staff as Decorators, Onsite Installers and EWP Operators to join our team to bring Christmas to life

The Tasks

ShopSense Promotions is hiring up to 20 additional casual team members to help install Christmas displays throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria, starting in late October - early December.

This staff may also be involved in dismantling the displays in late December - late January.

Selected staff may also be involved in pre-installation product preparation from early September to late October.

Installation shifts start early afternoon eg. 3.00 pm; with shifts going into the night, with shifts up to 10 hours as required. Staff will either meet at the warehouse in Carrum Downs or travel to jobs making their way to each site. Reasonable travel time to sites will be paid at the standard hourly rate.

Staff will be paid above Award rates.

Skills and Experience

Ideally, staff would have experienceinstalling events, displays, or visual merchandise (but not essential).

Past experience in installing commercial decorations would be an advantage.

Training will be provided & casual staff will be working with experienced crew.

All staff will be required to adhere to a range of HR policies and importantly Safety Workplace Standards.

Australian work rights are mandatory for this position.

Specific skills such as EWP and/or Boom license would be an advantage but not required for all staff.
