We are seeking to complement our established team with an experienced
Senior Estimator
. You will join a highly skilled and motivated team delivering a diverse range of multidisciplinary projects across South East Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Mange the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) estimating process, liaising with Client, Partners and Subcontractors and Suppliers
• Lead estimates - set up templates, develop procurement schedules and present first principles methodology at reviews
• Use of first principles to develop accurate estimates for Utility based projects (predominantly Water and Waste Water Treatment and distribution)
• Conduct research to obtain data on labour costs, materials, and production times etc.
• Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
• Mentor / train junior estimating staff.

How you'll connect to the role:

• You will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a relevant trade background
• Proven experience, and track record as a
  Senior Estimator
  in a tier 1 environment with experience pricing large and small projects - ideally involving Utility Infrastructure and some O&M experience.
• 7+ years leading estimates and managing other Estimators within a team environment
• Good communication, presentation skills and possess a positive and productive attitude
• Experience in Water / Waste Water, Power or Gas Utility infrastructure
• Experience in using Expert Estimator is desired, but not a requirement
