Our client is a storied real asset investor with a strong track record across Australia and New Zealand in addition to a broader regional presence. They provide innovative capital solutions across a wide-range of real asset and real asset backed situations with an emphasis on creative structuring and active investment management.
With a growing pipeline of opportunities, our client has created a new position which will be instrumental in the expansion of their footprint. This person will be responsible for the structuring and execution of privately negotiated capital solutions - both equity and debt. The fund's mandate is flexible and they are able to underwrite both real asset and real asset backed corporate situations using a range of instruments in the process.
You'll play a key role in a small local team and will immediately gain exposure to senior leadership and stakeholders as part of their significant regional network. This role will suit candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, those comfortable in smaller and less structured team environments, and those who are creative and diligent fundamentals-based investors.
The ideal candidate will have gained 2-6 years experience in a leading investment bank (M&A or Leveraged Finance) or PE fund. They will have strong financial modeling skills.
