The Opportunity:
We're seeking a Survey Technician to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strong pipeline of work, across the Greater Sydney region.
The Survey Technician delivers accurate survey data and design support across multiple projects, playing a key role in project planning and overall delivery.
The role will involve travel to projects across Greater Sydney
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting a variety of land and property surveys, including boundary, identification, topographic, and subdivision surveys
- Support cadastral survey tasks such as interpreting legal boundaries, assisting in subdivision plan preparation, and contributing to titling and registration processes.
- Assist in preparing plans for Development Applications (DAs), subdivisions, and construction set outs, including documentation such as environmental statements.
- Assist in preparing plans and survey reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop working knowledge of survey equipment including total station, GPS Setout systems, and drones.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering or the equivalent
- Previous experience in Autocad, 12D, Magnet and or Trimble Business Centre and/or other survey-related software (highly regarded but not essential)
- White Card
- Drivers Licence
- Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
- Great communication and organisation skills, including strong attention to detail
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to problem-solve
