We are excited to announce that we have a newly created opportunity in our Risk, Programs and Cyber Practice located in either Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne. As a client-facing consultant, you'll provide expert advisory and implementation support to for-purpose and public sector organisations seeking to enhance both physical and psychological health and safety outcomes. You will work across diverse client environments to deliver tailored solutions that ensure compliance with relevant legislation including the Model Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, Psychological Health Regulations and align with best practice guidance from Safe Work Australia, ISO 45001 and ISO This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in safety systems integration, psychosocial risk management, and organisational wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
Consulting and Advisory
- Partner with clients to assess current health, safety, and wellbeing practices and identify gaps and opportunities.
- Provide strategic advice and practical support to implement integrated safety frameworks covering both physical and psychological health.
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulatory guidance to client contexts, including the Model WHS Act and OHS Act.
Program Design and Delivery
- Co-design and deliver tailored health, safety, and wellbeing programs that reflect the values and operating environments of for-purpose and public sector organisations.
- Develop tools, resources, and training to build internal capability in hazard identification, risk management, and wellbeing leadership.
- Support clients in embedding safety and wellbeing into organisational culture, policies, and leadership practices.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and incident reviews to support continuous improvement in both physical and psychosocial safety.
- Advise on regulatory obligations and support clients in responding to WorkSafe, Comcare, or other authority inquiries.
- Work alongside eGRC technology partners (e.g., ServiceNow, 6clicks, Protecht) to enable clients with modern, technology-enabled Health and Safety solutions
Stakeholder Engagement and Capacity Building
- Facilitate workshops, consultations, and training sessions with diverse stakeholder groups including executives, frontline staff, and HSRs.
- Build trusted relationships with client teams and act as a coach and mentor to internal WHS and wellbeing leads.
- Support cross-sector collaboration and knowledge sharing through communities of practice and thought leadership.
The ideal candidate for this role is values-aligned professionals who thrive on solving problems that matter. To be successful in this role, you will likely bring:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Work Health and Safety, People and Culture, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Risk Management, or Regulatory Compliance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health, Organisational Psychology, Behavioural Science, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of WHS legislation, including the Model WHS Act, OHS Act 2004, and Psychological Health Regulations.
- Proven ability to apply ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 frameworks and Safe Work Australia guidance in practical settings.
- A highly organised and proactive team member keen to support on 2-3 client projects at any one time across a variety of industries and segments
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

Desirable
- AHPRA-registered Organisational Psychologist.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Organisational Psychology, Public Health, or Safety Leadership.
- Experience with trauma-informed practice, complex case management, inclusive workplace design, or culturally safe approaches.

Additional Information- Market leading Parental Leave: Allows either carer to take 26 weeks of leave, flexibly, until a child is two years of age.
