Brisbane's premier fine dining Japanese restaurant, Sono at Portside, is seeking enthusiastic bar professionals to join our team. With stunning river views and an authentic Japanese ambiance, Sono is renowned for exceptional food, elegant service, and a warm, professional culture.

We are offering part-time bar positions under the Restaurant Industry Award (MA – a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and sophisticated environment.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking individuals who bring:

• A positive attitude, good manners, and polished presentation.
• Prefer minimum 1 year experience in bar service.
• Basic knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and wine service – advanced skills not required, as full training is provided.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Confidence in multitasking, staying organised, and thriving in a busy service environment.
• Current RSA Certificate (essential).

Experience with Japanese beverages (sake, whisky, cocktails) will be highly regarded, but not essential.

Pay: $24.95 – $43.70 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
