As part of our Children's Services, we deliver high-quality childcare, parenting and family support programs, immunisation, maternal and child health services, youth services and services for older people. We pride ourselves on ensuring every community member can access the support they need.

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) to join our team. You will work closely with the Educational Leader to deliver programs informed by the Belonging, Being and Becoming: Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring they reflect best practice and meet the individual needs of each child

  • Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs that:
  • Respond to each child's strengths and interests
  • Reflect the philosophy of our service and align with National Quality Standards
  • Include indoor and outdoor learning, with a focus on sustainability
  • Support the planning and implementation of learning experiences that meet the individual needs of each child
  • Lead and mentor other educators to promote positive learning outcomes
  • Foster strong partnerships with families through open, respectful communication and engagement

What your experience might look like - Key Selection Criteria

  • Approved Diploma Children's Services qualification or approved equivalent qualification in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Current Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
  • Considerable experience working in an Early Childhood Services environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework, which includes the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Frameworks
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children, families and staff to achieve the best outcomes for children
  • Ability to engage ethically, and respect the diversity and abilities of children and families
