About The Role
Maddocks is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Workday Technical Lead to join their Information Technology team for a fixed-term contract (12 months). This role offers the chance to work closely with the Workday Professional Services Implementation team, to ensure seamless integration of Workday with our current technology and internal processes.

This Role Will

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership in the implementation, integration, and enhancement of Workday HCM modules, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Manage integrations between Workday and other enterprise platforms to enable seamless data exchange and automated processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure agile sprint delivery is timely, within scope, and on budget.
  • Oversee data migration activities, maintaining high standards of data integrity and security within the Workday environment.
  • Deliver expert technical support for Workday-related issues, resolving complex challenges efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for performance optimisation within Workday to improve system efficiency and user experience.
  • Ensure all Workday configurations and processes adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Stay informed of Workday updates and new features, driving continuous improvement and innovation

About You
You will have:

  • 3+ years of proven experience across Workday HCM; including

  • Extensive technical expertise in Workday implementation and integration.

  • Proven experience across multiple Workday modules.
  • Strong project management capabilities, ideally with experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies; PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and development.
  • Deep integration experience using Workday Studio, EIB, PICOF, and PECI.
  • Experience in custom development within Workday, including Extend and Prism.
  • Expertise in performance tuning and optimisation of Workday processes and reporting.
  • Experience in change management and promoting adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to manage third-party vendor relationships effectively.

Experience of Workday implementation in a legal and/or professional services environment will be highly advantageous.
