About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee daily operations across the bistro & bar, gaming, and customer service areas. Your goal is to ensure smooth shifts and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and staff. You'll lead from the front by supporting the team, managing compliance and security requirements, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations across bistro, bar, and gaming areas
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and gaming compliance at all times
- Lead, mentor, and motivate front-line staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution with professionalism
- Monitor and maintain venue presentation, safety, and security standards
- Assist with rostering, stock control, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliations
- Support senior management with compliance, audits, and reporting requirements
- Foster a positive and engaged team culture
About You:
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory role within hospitality, preferably with gaming experience
- Must hold current RSA & RCG certificates (ARCG certification highly regarded)
- Proven leadership skills and a hands-on approach
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant venue
