About the role

Barber Property Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team on a casual basis in Caloundra. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our prestigious hospitality establishments. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our properties.

What you'll be doing

  • Ensuring all guest rooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces are cleaned to the highest standards
  • Restocking and managing inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
  • Adhering to established hotel policies and procedures for cleaning and maintenance
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest concerns promptly
  • Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to maintain seamless operations
  • Assisting with deep cleaning and special projects as needed
  • Use of Housekeeping software
  • Moderate physical fitness is required for making beds, light lifting and handling cleaning equipment and supplies

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Some housekeeping experience is required, but all applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
