The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Plumber to join our team at Fast & Honest Plumbing in Northern/Western suburbs Melbourne, VIC. As a Maintenance Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities by providing a wide range of plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining fixtures and fittings
  • Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues and take appropriate action to resolve them
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plumbing equipment and systems
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to address them
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate and complete complex projects
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies

What We're Looking For

  • A valid plumbing registered/licensed and at least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Plumber
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of plumbing issues
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to handle multiple tasks and emergency situations effectively
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide clear updates and instructions to stakeholders
  • A commitment to safety and a demonstrated history of working in compliance with relevant regulations
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with other trades and departments
