About the Role
The Head of Junior School provides educational, wellbeing and strategic leadership across the Junior School and ELC. A key member of both the School Management Team and the Educational Leadership Team, this position plays a central role in shaping culture, enhancing learning opportunities, and strengthening community connections.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leading day-to-day operations of the Junior School and ELC with students at the centre of decision-making.
- Overseeing curriculum development, assessment, reporting and compliance.
- Championing student wellbeing, positive relationships and safe learning environments.
- Supporting, mentoring and managing Junior School and Early Learning staff.
- Driving enrolment growth and parent engagement in collaboration with Admissions.
- Managing budgets, risk, compliance, and operational planning.
- Representing the Junior School as a visible and engaging leader within the community.
- Deputising for the Principal or Deputy Principal as required.

- Significant leadership experience, ideally as a Head of Junior School.

- The ability to build trust, foster community, and engage meaningfully with students, families, and staff.
- A demonstrated commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
The Appointment
