The successful
candidate will join a high performing, collaborative and compassionate team who
continuously provide exceptional service to our patients to directly enhance
the patients experience.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Supporting
the multidisciplinary team - Analysing
and reporting on data Interacting with patients and other professionals - Data
entry and result management - Ensuring
quality control is maintained Trouble-shooting machine operational issues - Following
established protocols – full compliance with accreditation, protocols and lab
procedures - Ordering
and maintaining stock, equipment, and consumables - Answering
Genetics phone and booking test-related appointments
Are you the ideal
candidate for us?
The ideal candidate will see their role as vital to the success of the
organisation. Understanding there are ups and down in reproductive health, our
Laboratory Technicians will have a genuine interest in fertility solutions.
They must also be sensitive to the needs of patients and display exceptional
communication skills.
Ideally you will bring the following:
- A
degree in Biological/Health Science - Previous
laboratory experience within a Genetics laboratory - Knowledge
of Genetics and Pathology practices and accreditation including NATA - Advanced
interpersonal and communication skills - Exceptional
organisational skills - A
focus on timely outcomes with the ability to prioritise - A
willingness to work collaboratively within a small multidisciplinary team - Attention
to detail focus - A
positive attitude and ability to take initiative - Advanced
computer literacy skills - A
willingness to fit in and embrace the Monash IVF Group Mission and Principles
