Full-Time Restaurant Manager & Cook Needed

Our company, Wong Brothers Investments Pty Ltd runs several Chinese restaurants located in Townsville, Queensland. We are now looking for full time, qualified and experienced Restaurant Manager & Cook.

Salary: $69,000 p.a. + Super

To be successful for this opportunity as Restaurant Manager, you will need to be:

Task & Responsibilities

· Planning menus in consultation with management and customers

· Planning and organizing special functions

· Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget

· Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

· Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance

· Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service

· Supervising waiting and kitchen staff, and training new staff

· May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders

Qualification Required:

Holds at least Diploma of Hospitality Management qualification

Work Experience and Skills Required:

· At least 1 year work experience in restaurantmanagerial roles.

· Excellent in human resource, dispute resolution, communication skills.

To be successful for this opportunity as Cook, you will need to be:

Task & Responsibilities

· Examines food to ensure quality.

· Prepares meat by cutting them into pieces and vegetables by washing and cutting.

· Marinates meat before cooking.

· Fries meat, and vegetables.

· Seasons food during cooking.

· Prepares noodles and fried rice.

· Portions food, places on dishes, adds sauces and garnishes.

· Stores food in fridge and freezer.

· Checks & receives stocks.

· Cleaning of kitchen before restaurant close every work day.

Qualification Required:

Holds a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery & Cert IV in Kitchen Management

Work Experience and Skills Required:

· At least 1 year work experience in similar roles.

· Excellent in culinary skills dispute resolution, communication skills.

Australian citizens or permanent residents only.

Successful candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
