Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role located in Sydney, NSW, with some work from home accepted, for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The Senior Electrical Engineer will design electrical (power, lighting, security / CCTV, etc) & telecommunication (structured cabling, NBN, MATV, etc.) systems, review project requirements, produce technical drawings, and ensure compliance with local codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders, conducting site visits, and supporting project management activities from design to implementation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PowerCAD, PowerPac, Word, Excel, Dialux, AGI32, AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
  • Experience in designing and modelling electrical / telecommunication systems
  • Knowledge of local and international fire codes and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPEng, MIEAust, DBP Accreditation, NER) are a plus
