Our company is a successful Australian manufacturer established in 1993, major supplier of packaging materials. This opportunity will see you join a strong brand, highly experienced team with a reputation for blow moulding & Injection machines.

We are seeking a self-motivated, truck driver to join our company based in Wetherill park NSW

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Transport finished goods to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Report defects, accidents or violations

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a small team
  • Attention to detail
  • With Heavy Rigid license; HC license preferred
  • Overtime pay applied
  • Forklift Driver License preferred

The successful candidates will possess a strong work ethic, achieve highest level of safety and quality of work. You will also need to drive forklift sometime to transfer stock between warehouses

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Wetherill Park, NSW 2164: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

  • Truck driving: 2 years (Required)

  • HR Truck licence (Required)
