The Company  

Perigon Group is working with a well known brand to recruit for a Payroll Officer. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Payroll.

The Role

This 4-month contract with the possibility of extending, will be suitable for animmediately available or soon to be immediately available Payroll Officer who will report directly to the Payroll Manager.

  • Support the Payroll Manager ensuring accuracy across allowances and leave types, and full compliance with payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation, Workcover, and other statutory requirements.
  • Oversee onboarding, prepare employment documentation, and maintain staff records including asset registers, contact lists, and mobile phone administration.
  • Maintain timekeeping systems, ensure accurate hours and approvals, and manage weekly timesheets and invoice reconciliation.
  • End of week and end of month reporting, running specific reports as instructed.

About You

  • At least 1 year of experience in payroll processing
  • Proven ability to manage payroll operations
  • Experience in complex or highly regulated environments
  • Proficient in Excel, including intermediate-level functions
