Role Overview:

The
Facilities Design Lead
will be working within a Defence program of work. They will be required to

  • Lead the Facilities tasks within the program
  • Report on and provide advice to the Senior Leadership Team on Facilities
  • Report on the identification, assessment and control of risks
  • Conduct and attend weekly meetings both internal and external
  • Provide oversight and guidance on the Facilities budget

The successful candidate will have

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the Defence Industry and strong understanding of internal workings of Facilities.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in Facilities and working accommodation areas.
  • Experience managing and maintaining large enterprise datacentres.
  • Experience configuring and administering datacentre electronic and physical security systems.
  • Experience in managing and authoring datacentre documentation suites
  • Experience in installing and configuring enterprise monitoring and DCIM tools.
  • Experience designing and managing passive cabling infrastructure within a data-hall and between geographically separated sites.
  • Experience designing and documenting data-hall rack layouts including active and passive infrastructure.
