Our Content & Commercial Partnerships team is at the forefront of driving commercial success and strategic expansion for the Foxtel Group. We are currently recruiting a Head of Partnerships – Commercial who will be instrumental in driving commercial success and strategic expansion through high-impact partnerships.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Content & Commercial Partnerships, you will lead initiatives that enhance the reach and monetisation of Foxtel, Hubbl, Binge & Kayo platforms, delivering innovative bundling, and commercial growth strategies. Your expertise in end-to-end partnership management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement will ensure seamless execution while unlocking new opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive new commercial opportunities, optimising content distribution and revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies that enhance partner engagement and retention, ensuring long-term success.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key partners to maximise commercial outcomes.
  • Directly impact the device and subscriber growth of Hubbl, Kayo & Binge through strategic commercial partnerships.
  • Lead the launch of app bundle partnerships for Hubbl, Kayo & Binge, ensuring alignment with strategic growth objectives.
  • Oversee the launch/integration of new apps on Hubbl, driving market expansion and audience engagement.
  • Manage end-to-end partnerships with global app partners and the implementation of integrated billing solutions.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and drive decision-making to support strategic partnership initiatives.
  • Champion a high-performance culture, fostering collaboration and innovation within the team and broader organisation.

About your experience

  • Strong experience in strategic partnerships, commercial growth, or business development within the media, streaming, or technology industries.
  • Proven ability to execute high-value partnerships, including bundled app distribution, telco collaborations, and subscription-based services.
  • A strong commercial negotiator who is comfortable negotiating with external senior executives, directors, and GMs.
  • Expertise in end-to-end partnership management, from negotiation and execution to performance optimisation.
  • Experienced with contracts, contract review, and working with legal teams.
  • Deep understanding of commercials and funding arrangements.
  • Deep understanding of digital distribution models, subscription growth strategies, and global content ecosystems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills (both internal and external), with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
  • A strong 'doer' with a willingness to own all elements of partnerships and do the work required around the various areas.
  • A high-performance mindset, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovation.
