The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-performing Medical Administratorwho thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. In this role, you will provide direct administrative and operational support to Professor Kelvin Kong, playing a key part in ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient clinical coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialist Billing: Manage correspondence, patient lists, and scheduling for Professor Kelvin Kong
• Surgical Billing: Accurately process Medicare and private health fund claims.
• Patient Liaison: Provide professional, compassionate assistance to patients and be the friendly voice on the phone and the helpful hand at the desk.
• Financial Administration: Reconcile daily takings and manage banking tasks.
• Records Management: Maintain confidential and accurate patient records.
• Debtor Management: Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely resolution.
• Team Coordination: Liaise with hospitals, referring doctors, and allied health professionals.
• Systems & Compliance: Apply sound knowledge of Medicare and private health fund knowledge to streamline workflows.

While this role provides support to Professor Kelvin Kong it also requires strong teamwork across the practice. You will assist other specialists, contribute to patient phone support, and collaborate with the broader team to ensure smooth operations.
