Experienced Electricians Needed for a Leading Client in Australia

 

Our premier client is in search of skilled and experienced Electricians to join their dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in electrical installations and maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and quality. The main responsibility will be to ensure the efficient operation and safety of electrical systems, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

 

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician.
  • Provide supporting documents such as payslips, proof of employment, a valid passport, and police clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance and installations.
  • Relevant electrician certification or technical training from a recognised institution.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and clients.
