Bar Manager

Start Date: Early October.
As the Bar Manager at Little Red' (what the dinner service will be called), you will play a pivotal role in creating and applying a vibrant cocktail/bar menu overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our vibrant restaurant located in Werribee, VIC. In this casual position, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a small team to provide an exceptional dining/drinking experience for our valued customers.
We will be serving Tapas style dishes (shared plates) Along with some delicious drinks.
What you'll be doing
- Effectively manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, staff training & inventory management
- Curate a cocktail menu alongside our delicious tapas style menu
- Ensure exceptional customer service by providing guidance and support to the front-of-house team
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, inspiring your team to deliver consistently high-quality service
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities to drive customer traffic and revenue growth
What we're looking for
- Substantial experience in a restaurant management role, preferably within the hospitality and tourism industry
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant or bar management role, preferably within the hospitality and tourism industry
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a memorable dining experience
- Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using restaurant management software and technologies
- Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation techniques
- Right to work in Australia
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
