We hire, manage, and maintain a fleet of more than 400 pieces of civil construction plant equipment, mining equipment and heavy haulage and bulk haulage vehicles to deliver on this vision. About the Opportunity

RE:Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our growing team in our brand-new Osborne Park offices. Reporting to the General Manager – Finance & Commercial, you'll play a key role in driving the company's commercial and contractual success across Mining, Civil, and Haulage projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial function and provide strategic, expert guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Support contract delivery through timely, accurate commercial input and documentation.
  • Oversee procurement and commercial activities across all project stages – from pre-bid through to close-out.
  • Oversee subcontractor engagement, due diligence, and performance oversight.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and project controls to ensure full commercial alignment.
  • Contribute to the negotiation of subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring all risk and compliance requirements are met.
  • Lead commercial risk management across finance, estimating, and compliance domains.
  • Support contract performance reviews and client reporting.


Skills And Experiences

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (highly regarded).
  • Proven commercial management experience with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple complex issues simultaneously.
  • Experience in mining operations within Australia is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation.
