About the role

Jenny's Gourmet Bakery is seeking an experienced Baker/Pastry Chef to join our team in our Eastwood, SA 5063 location. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and talented culinary team, creating delicious baked goods and pastries for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods to our high standards
  • Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all products
  • Assisting with menu development and implementing new recipes
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a commercial bakery or restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Passion for creating high-quality baked goods and a desire to continuously learn and improve
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
