About the role
Jenny's Gourmet Bakery is seeking an experienced Baker/Pastry Chef to join our team in our Eastwood, SA 5063 location. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and talented culinary team, creating delicious baked goods and pastries for our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods to our high standards
- Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all products
- Assisting with menu development and implementing new recipes
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a commercial bakery or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Passion for creating high-quality baked goods and a desire to continuously learn and improve
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
