The Mind and Behaviour Clinic encompasses a group of individuals from diverse backgrounds, yet we thrive and are proud in our established workplace culture. About the Role:
- Working collaboratively with clinicians to develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans
- Recognise and provide a strength-based framework of therapy suited to client development.
- Work with and empower clients and their families to work within their natural environments to address desired goals.
- Work collaboratively with staff from other agencies in ways which promote clear communication and effective partnerships.
- Communicate, monitor, evaluate and record client progress as required
What We're Looking For:
- Currently studying Occupational Therapy.
- Exceptional communication skills including writing skills.
- The capacity to convey information and an ability to motivate others.
- Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Capacity to engage with different groups of people, in a variety of contexts, and with differing levels of engagement.
- A professional mindset and genuine care for the clients we service
- Current Working With Children Check, Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening, and valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Access to your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance and a valid driver's licence since this role involves community visits to homes, schools, and other settings
